Docklands Village Nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

We currently have 2 settings; Docklands Village Nursery Babies which cares for children age 3 months to 2 years and Docklands Village Nursery cares for babies, toddlers and preschoolers aged 3 months to 5 years.

We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of local working parents primarily in and around New Providence Wharf and City Island, E14. Our ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ ethos means we will work closely with parents and professionals, to provide a warm, caring, homely setting to nurture and educate our precious children.

This well-known proverb means that the job of raising a child lies within the whole community. We are sharing the job of raising these children with their parents, families and all the people who will be involved in their young lives. Our mission is to create a feeling of family and community; and with the very rich cultural capital of our local communities, we will indeed be a global village. A global village that aims to raise healthy, happy, confident children ready for the modern digital world.

Children will benefit from the full range of learning opportunities as outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our unique partnership with docklands Village Club will mean children will enjoy tried and tested Music, Arts and Physical Play activities as part of their daily routine. We will also be introducing Digital Play to encourage children to integrate technology into their everyday play and learning experience.
