Free childcare and education for 2 year-olds

You can get free childcare for a two year old if you receive certain benefits, if your child has a disability, or if they have been looked after by the local authority. If you are eligible, you can get 15 hours of free childcare a week and we stretch the entitlement over 51 weeks of the year.

Free childcare and education for 3 to 4-year-olds

All 3 to 4-year-olds in England receive 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year. We stretch the termly entitlement over 51 weeks of the year.

30-hours free childcare and education

Children of parents meeting certain criteria will be eligible for the extended entitlement which provides an additional 570 hours of free childcare per year. This will be stretched over the full year in the same way as the 15 hours. Check your child’s eligibility for the 30 hours. We offer a small number of 15 hours and 30 hours fully funded places – please contact the Nursery Manager for more information.
